If you notice a loud Clunking noise everytime you open a door probably the driver's side mainly then the likely hood is that the Door Strap has broken. A simple fix that requires a replacement part from Fiat at around £18.00 plus at least an hour of your time to do it.
To gain access to the inside of the door panel just remove the speaker grill & speaker completely and you should be able to reach the strap with your Right hand whilst undoing the 2 8mm bolts with your Left hand ensuring that once the strap is loose enough to come out from the inside of the door you don't allow the bolts to fall down inside the door panel.
As you can see from the slightly out of focus photos, the broken bit is the actual hinge that bolts onto the inside of the door.
Fitting is just as easy.
