General Brembo or OEM Disc+Pads

I soon will require changing all 4 pads and disc, I have seen some brembo disc and pads for an extra £50 over the oem. Is it worth the extra money? or could some one recommend me alternatives.

Could someone please post links to previous threads on brakes and brake pads, I can't seem to find any with regard to search.

Otherwise, I am considering getting EBC pads on my car, red stuff if possible and want to know if this is possible.

Please let me know if this is a good idea or if you have any other recommendations?
