Think it was his best option after the whole Mercedes thing and they're preference of Rosberg in the team. Yeah, he's champion but German manufacturer and German driver - good match for marketing. With Heidfeld joining as well, it could get even more patriotic though it's of course a team based in the South of England.

Could shape up to be an interesting season though for sure if Nick and Nico can break the bad luck/form they've had in previous seasons.
