Technical Bravo undertray?

Hi folks
Was having a closer look round my "new" today. Can anyone tell me if this car (1.6 mj 120) should have a front undertray under the engine - on opening the bonnet I can peer straight down and see the roadway which I thought was a bit unusual for cars these days?
Any comments appreciated?

It should have it. And I recomend you to buy one. There are versions with and without sponge on it. Get whatever you can find.

I got a metal one.. worth every penny. I scraped it quite a few times
