Technical Bravo Sport Suspension

Hello people.

When I have been reading about the bravo Sport Suspension on here everyone says it is really harsh. I have the 2.0 mjet 165. I don't find the suspension very harsh. When I have walked passed a few other bravo sports it looks to me like they sit lower than mine.
Could anyone tell me how many inches are between the outside of the wheel arch and tyre on a bravo Sport?
Also my car does lean quite a lot in corners at normal speeds.

Well I did have a 100 hp panda before this car so maybe I am comparing it to that and the bravo being bigger is maybe softer?

I've got the sport, I've driven so many cars for my job and don't think it's harsh at all, it is compared to something like a swift or focus but don't have any trouble, scrapes on speed bumps tho lol

Good not just me then.
Just being paranoid over nothing! Haha. Although I feel the suspension could do with a bit of adjustment to reduce the body roll. Just don't have the money to do it!

The suspension isn't what I'd call hard. It's stiff but not hard.

My Mrs's 2013 Octavia VRS is hard. Every bump is noticeable. It's down to perception, if you're used to comfort, anything sporty will feel hard.

Yeah I guess that's it Insomnia. The bravo feels soft compared to my old Panda 100 hp (which I loved!). I have to say since I got my new tyres on yesterday the handling/ride does feel more sporty.

I had a Focus ST before my Bravo Sport and to be honest the suspension is positively bouncy compared with the ST.

I think the best way to sum it up is the sport is rock solid compared to the Dynamic, but perhaps not in comparison to other cars.

I remember Freebo's 2008 Sport vs my 2008 Dynamic and the difference is very noticeable!

I have never been in a dynamic before. I will need to flag someone down on the roads who has a dynamic and ask for a wee drive haha

mines had new standard springs on due to one snapping on it a few months back. that was only one finger width wide

Cool. My car is 09 plate and I think it would be about the same width as your new springs so that's good for me. Again must just be me comparing the bravo to my old Panda 100 hp which was harsh (but I loved it)

Something else to factor in ride feel is the tyres (think someone sort of touched on this on an earlier post).

The compound/speed/brand of the tyre can play a huge difference.
