Technical Bravo replacement gear cable part number

Morning all, has anyone got the part number for the gear cables that go from the base of the gear stick to the gearbox? My Wife's Bravo has the common issue where moving the gear stick left and right takes considerable force and it doesn't return to center so that cable needs replacing
I spoke to Fiat dealer and all they could tell me was there are 2 and they are different (1 for horizontal movement and the other for forwards and backwards)

She has a 57' plate Bravo T-jet 1.4

It is a good ideea to first check if the cable is the problem.
Release the cable from gearbox lever and watch how your gear stick will move now. The problem can be at gearbox selector or even in the box under gear stick lever.
If your conclusion is the cable is the problem then post the car VIN = zfa......

yeah i disconnected the cable from the selector mechanism on the gear box and the mechanism moved smooth as silk. I tried sliding the selector cable in and out myself and it was really stiff, the cable looks like it's corroded from the bit that sticks out of the sheath
