my first car was a 1999 ford fiesta 1.6z.
Sold that for a new bravo which i now have.
Along side the bravo i have my toy car - Chevrolet Camaro 1984, v6 3.2l- just to wast money on.

Although the bravo is now going for sale around x-mass and going to be replaced with something bigger and faster - im thinking of something begining with 'L'

Re: Re: Here goes

Just A short list from me

Ford Orion 1.4L (Don't know why?)1999
Nissan Sunny 1.6 16v SLX (Crashed it)2000
Nissan Micra 1.3 SR (Not quick enough)2000
Fiat Punto GT 1.4 8v turbo (Why did I get rid of this)
Fiat Bravo 1.6 16v Trofeo (like it but not quick enough for me need more speed)

No points on licence and had no producers been driving for 3years 6months

Isn't it funny but out of all the cars I have had I got pulled once for speeding which was in the ford (the slowest of all the cars I have owned), but got let off (think copper felt sorry for me)

Before the Bravo...

Passed test in 1988 at 18 (older than Nigel!) Since then owned in orderd of ownership:-

'Y' Panda 45
'D' Uno 60S 3 door in yukky beige
'E' Uno 70SX
'G' Tempra 1.6SX
'J' Tempra 1.8ie SX (same colour as the 1.6 so no one even knew I'd changed cars)
'J' Tipo 2.0ie 16v Sedicivalvole - possibly the most fun car I've owned. Mettalic Shiraz Red, fully colour coded, optional Recaro seats
'N' Tempra 1.6ie S
'K' Lancia Dedra 1.6ie
'F' Fiat X1/9 Gran Finale
'M' Fiat Tipo Liberty (air con and Alcantara interior)
'H' Fiat Tempra 1.6S
'R' Fiat Marea 2.0 HLX (+air con)
'V' Fiat Seicento Sporting
'W' Alfa Romeo 166 3.0V6 - awesome alfa red with red leather, red carpets, sat nav etc (current)
'X' Fiat Bravo 155HGT with leather interior (current)

Average mileage 22k per year, highest mileage cars the X1/9 and 'H' plate Tempra both sold with over 115k on the clock.

The only breakdowns ever experienced were in the 'H' reg Tempra (lambda sensor) and the 'J' reg Tempra were the alarm waterlogged during heavy rain/spray and killed the engine. Once it dried out off we went

So, overall very happy with our Italian cars.

Re: before the brava

Seeing as everyone else has had a go, may as well add myself to the list. Cars that I have owned:

1988 Fiat Panda 1000CL - Owned for 10 months in 1997 - Very slow, very crap but never let me down.

1993 Rover 220GTi - Owned for 9 months until someone T-boned me - Very fast car but unreliable as hell.

1998 Fiat Bravo 1.6SX - Ink Black - crap interior but still the best Bravo engine combining good performance with good fuel economy and a sweet sound.

1999 Fiat Bravo 115HLX - Heraldic Blue - Looks good, engine is refined but performance disappointing on the whole.
also
2002 Renault Clio 172 - Black - Very fast in a straight line, interior not bad, but crap cornering and every muppet has one now.

Both the above are being sold to make way for my Alfa GTA....once Alfa give me a delivery date!!
