bravo no code light

I have a fiat bravo 1.2 (1995) and it suddenly wouldn’t start. the key code light does not illuminate at all, ant there is no spark present, however the fuel pump does prime. Could the ECU have lost its code? is there a blink test i could do? as i only have an OBD2 tester.

I think he means broken/non functional, i.e. Un-Serviceable (hence US)
