Bravo Multijet engine swap

Hi i'm a new member that could do with a bit of technical advice! i have a Fiat Bravo 1.9 diesel multijet 120 8v which has just suffered the dreaded cam belt failure. my question is it may be cheaper to replace my engine so will a 150bhp 16v diesel engine fit straight in? many thanks

Most important is the electronics.
To fit the 16V engine you need, engine + ECU + loom and probably all the electronics from the donor car including locks and keys.
