Ive got the tjet 120 and i feel it sits a bit too high. And the 17' alloys exaggerate the wheel arch size. Id like to lower it but dunno
1.what springs to get
2.how much to lower (was thinking 40mm)
3.will it effect anything other than ride quality dramatically?

I have an 08 Bravo Mjet sport and it is a fair bit lower than the standard cars but the ride quality is pretty poor especially with anyone in the back seats.
Eibach springs are well known for giving a good ride quality so they might be worth a try...
To answer your questions...
1. Eibach
2. 30mm, wouldn't go lower with my experience of my own car.
3. Handling in a good way.

My advice would be, buy uprated dampers matched to your new springs. While the stock dampers will be fine with the springs, the characteristics of the wheel moving in the wheel well becomes questionable without, where it feels like the car lifts off the springs and then slams back down, and just generally isn't as controlled as it should be.

Do it properly, do it once.
