Technical Bravo Key

I've got a 57 plate 1.9 fiat bravo and i lost the key

I've had AA key recovery people out and they have cut a new key and programmed to "buttons/fob"
Problem is all 3 buttons open- lock- boot all do the same thing... I never know if the car is locked or not..

AA have been out again and tried 3 different fobs and they all do the same.
I've been told that the only way to get this working right is to use a genuine fiat bravo key...
HOWEVER I've been told these have been discontinued

AA in there wisdom have told me to contact fiat specialists to try and find a key....
It has to be new i can't use a second hand key...


Any advice gratefully received

Ask an autolocksmith

They can normally fit a new chip and recode it into the car

AA auto electrician has been out

He has programmed the key and i can start to car OK but the buttons on the key fob don't work as intended

He's tried programing 3 different keys/fob but can't get it working correctly
Been told it HAS to be a genuine fiat key no aftermarket key (fob) will work

BUT fiat no longer stock/sell the key....
So......?

I offered the advice of buying a FIAT KEY

from ebay.. or the forum..

And getting it 'virginised'

Phoned ponsaloti and he can't help...

Insurance company are considering writing off the car....
Seems such a waste/pity for the sake of a key...

Anyone help?? Save a Bravo!

Even if you can't get the key coded, can't you just manually lock the doors the old fashioned way with the blade?
