I'm offered a Bravo 1.6 SX that has been in a
flood in Germany last summer. The car is
running after cleaning and ecu being replaced.
I'm wondering how good is bravo rust protected
since it was submerged. Is it going to start
rusting very soon or it won't make a difference?
How much damage to the engine could have been made by trying to start a car after the flood?

How reliable is TD100? Has someone driven 100k+ miles on it, what are it's failures?

I have a TD100. I have driven 60,000 miles in it. There have been no significant failures with it to date.
I have replaced 2 tyres on the front, both sets of front pads once. I have had to replace an electric window motor (easy job) and refit the rear window cleaner pipe which fell off (also easy). Thats it! The interior is still as new and there are no squeaks or rattles. The engine is showing no obvious signs of wear but I do service it at the recommended intervals. Economy varies between 45-50mpg depending on conditions. Hope that helps!
