wondering if anyone has any ideas to get the non vis hgt engine as close to 200 bhp as poss without a transplant any ideas wold be great

Hi Tony, may as well answer you here instead!

200bhp is achievable no question, indeed 250bhp would be achievable. The reality is cost, for a good 200bhp you will be looking at circa £3.5-4k. Taking it to the next level you can add another £3.5k for around 220bhp+, and all this before you have touched the suspension or brakes!!

Or...

Get a 20vt engine and loom for £500-800 or whole car £1500+, swap the bits over and with a remap you'll have 260bhp!!
