I have a 2009 bravo 1.6 multijet having covered 72k. After a journey of around 20 miles when I change from 2nd to 3rd the gear lever want to go into first if you are careful you can get it into 3rd no problem. During the first 19 miles no issues and like I say you can change ok if your careful its just if you let the gear lever take its normal course it drifts into first anyone got any ideas or seen anything similar

Check the Bravo forum for "Sticky Gear stick" and the Marea forum for "Stiff Gear stick" (the Marea has the same linkage as the Bravo)

You might have the same problem as I had where the pin is too tight causing the gear stick not to spring back to centre. I sorted mine a few weeks ago but when the engine gets up to temperature it doesn't spring to centre again.

After writing this I thought I would have a go at sanding the pin down a bit more which seems to have done the trick.
