Bravo Fog Lamp Problem

Hello Everyone,

I have a three year old Braavo and the fog lamp is permanently ON when the ignition is on. This is regardless of the facia switch being on or off and the facia lamp also is on. I have little experience as a repairer so I ask if anyone can suggest what the fault might be and also the solution. Or indeed if I should take it to an auto-electrician. Initially the lamp came on intermittently but now it's always on.
Thanks for your help.

When you turn your stalk to no light do the fogs go out ?
If yes, then I think its your switch on the centre console

Check the fuse for the brake lights. It sounds strange, but during a particularly cack-handed day trying to fix my back windscreen washer, I managed to blow the fuse to the brake lights, causing either the fog light or the heated rear window (can't remember which) to stay on, regardless of where the switch was.

Simple fix its the little black relay that has gone you will find it if you remove the glove box

Thanks for the diagnosis. Can you say if it's difficult to remove the glove box ? Do you think a novice can do it ?

Kind regards,

Mario

Its easy, all you need is a philips (cross head) screw driver and remove about 8 screws in and around the glovebox.

Then disconnect the light inside and the glovebox comes out.

oh indeed you'll need a shot star screw driver o get to the screws in the glove box at the top where it clicks in place to keep it shut, take all screws out and it should just pull out
