Bravo 1.6 SX struggles when engine is cold

Hi, as the title suggests really. When i come back to the car after its been stood, and start it, it idles fine, but as soon as i start and drive it, it seems to struggle. Also, whilst its "struggling" there is a weird rattling noise comming from underneath the car, seems to be near the front of the car.

Once the car reaches temperature all symptoms go away.

Im not sure if someones posted a problem like this before, i tried to search but couldnt find anything similar, its awkward because the search lists every post.

Any ideas?

Age, milage, service history etc...

Sorry its 1997 Fiat Bravo SX (Petrol). 74,000 miles.

Im not sure on the service history, ive not had it long..

The Sparkplugs & leads all look ok, Air Filter & belts changed just before i bought it (and all look ok).

I have clamped a new exhaust on but its not blowing as far as i can tell, and the heat shield is out of the way.

Looking ok and actually ok are usually miles apart so it will be worth a new set of plugs and maybe leads.
