Hi All,

Just bought myself a Bravo 1.6 HLX in Broom Yellow, picking it up this Friday.

Looking at modding it up, any suggestions? Gotta replace that awful radio first, then window tinting, but what next.

Anything I need to keep my eyes on mechanically.

Thanks,

Matt

If its a pre '99/00 1.6 then they have known dodgey fuel injectors. They just die for no real reason. According to Weber the design was changed sometime in 2000 but they would not say any more.

The old ones seem to last about 3 years. If one does go, get all 4 changed as its about £250 labor each time! I had 3 go in just under 12 months (Fiat only had 1 in stock the first 2 times, Duh!) and when the 3rd failed I ordered them myself from Weber and it took about 2 hours to change them.

Other than that just rev the nuts off it and have fun!

Thanks for the advise guys, checked out the Bravo Guide site a little while back when I was first looking at buying a Bravo after writing off my 206 :(

Its a 2001 model and still has warrenty left on it, so hopefully it'll be alright, drive's like an absolute dream!

Matt.
