brava shuddering in reverse

hi ppl i have a t reg brava 1.4 sx and i change the gearbox on it last year and just recently when i reverse the whole car shudders and jolts violently really bad . im guessing this is a mount or somthing can anyone help.

Yep, sounds like an engine mount has gone mate. One of them went in my old car and when reversing, it made a really loud tinny shuddering noise... I'm guessing this is what you're getting?

NO MINES A REALLY LOUD BANGING THE WHOLE CAR SHAKES U TO DEATH LOL I DONT KNOW WHERE TO LOOK

I had a simillar problem on a fiesta i had. just the same symptoms you describe. The mounting bolt had sheard completely allowing the gearbox to lift. try jacking up the gear box and keep an eye on the mounting

anyone had this happen to them in a fiat
