Brava ecu decoding

Hi
Can anyone help me?
I have a Brava 1.4 on a r plate.
The key code light on the dash is flashing intermitantly!!!!!:bang::bang:
The engine wont start.I don't have the RED KEY or the original code card.
I've heard that the ECU can be re-coded.
ANY IDEAS FOLKS????
