I have been having a problem with my Brava for a few months now. Basically it was a sound drive ever since i bought it with 3,450 miles on the clock. It now has 48K on the clock. About this time last year I had the Cambelt and tensioner assy replaced (@ 35+K)due to a very noisy tensioner pulley and all the horror stories. Fiat did this work FOC after I kicked up a bit of noise, I just had to pay for the belt though, as it was in perfect condition.
It seems that ever since the work was carried out the car has never run quite the same. At low revs especially when deccelerating, stopping at junctions, low speed manouveurs, parking, that sort of thing the engine just dies. It doesn't just do this when it's cold either it happens at any time, even if i've just been bashing down the motorway and stop at a junction/slip road. I have taken the car back to the garage a few times but of course it was behaving perfectly, even when i was driving round town with the Technician in the passenger seat - sods law eh!
Given my symptoms, Are there any known issues with this model/car that could be prime suspect for further investigation or replacement.
