Brava 1.6 / Km counter off (green number screen)

Hi im glad to be here, nice site to all the fiat fans congratulations Nige ...well, I hope somebody has the answer to this question...as the title says, the Kilometers counter on my brava 98 1.6 has died...as you know is an electronic counter with green brilliants number...the velocimeter works fine and the rest of the counters too...so what could be happening here...??? thanks for read, I hope you could help me with this....regards, César.

my mate has a set of clocks for sale. they are bran new and in Km. i know he wants about £100 for them. as they are over £300 from fiat.

Couldn't it just be the back lighting gone? I'd take it into fiat to have a look at it, i guess they are not as **** on the contenant as they are here
