My 400 mile / week commute has resulted in the recent arrival of occasional tapping from the engine after it has been running a while.
I suspect oil starvation, or tappet failure, or camshaft wear.
Mileage is still only 54k, with a recent main dealer lube service (I have checked that they put some oil back in the sump!).
Car's been regularly serviced (mainly by me) plus franchise dealers since new, with cam belt changes etc. all done.
Can anyone recommend a Fiat engine specialist in the South East?
I have used Power Fiat before but they only do performance tuning now.
