I bought a pair of drilled and grooved discs for my Bravo 1.2 16v sx. They perfom well but still lack bite. Is it possible to fit brakes from a 2L 20v marea. There is one in my local scrappy and i would take the brakes from it. Has anyone done this or know someone who has 2L brakes on their bravo?????

Its worth converting the rears to the standard disks instead of drums, yeah (I say that only because i'm doing it next week, along with braided hoses if i can afford them at the time). As Tom said, new pads shoulds been on the front when u bought new disks too. They aint that expensive either...

Rear discs won't give you better braking. You can lock the rears with drums which means the drums give enough force as is. ITs a front heavy, front wheel drive car, rear brakes do **** all.

The pads on the front will make the biggest difference. You can buy the most expensive biggest brakes you can find but if you fit the wrong pad it will still brake like crap.

Drilled discs do not really improve the bite...they just hold for longer without getting overheated. You'll need performance brake pads as well.

Besides, do not expect good braking performance for the first couple of days as the discs need to be run in for a few hundred miles before you can really jump on the brakes.
