Hi all,i had a recent test drive with a Punto Evo multiair 105 hp.
I loved the car. Beautifull interior and exterior and really friendly and ergonomic.
but i have the following questions.
1)is this moteur similar to the turbocharged one? I mean ,if you buy a 105 can you then turbocharge it with just buying Oem parts for 135?
2)This one is more important to me.What's the steps to change the rear drum brakes for disc brakes? Can we fit the brakes from a tjet grande maybe?

You can probably fit the rear disks from some FIAT. But the GP is really a vauxhall in drag, so isn't the ideal starting point (different centre bore, PCD, etc.).

But will this improve braking? It's a FWD car with a fairly heavy front weight bias, which will only get higher under braking (weight transfer under braking is always forwards -- assuming you're applying the brakes going forwards(!)).

You may well be better off with larger front disks and calipers.

It's not only for the braking power, rear is not as stressed as the front anyway, but it's the total, you know, i mean the looks, the calipers i use to colour in my cars and after all it's a slight improvement. If anyone knows something just let's discuss it here!
