Hi could anyone tell me how to change the servo unit on a 2000 (w reg) sjtd ulysse. The manual I've got is for a left hand drive and looks straight forward without the linkage across the bulkhead any tips please

Basically, you need to strip out anything in the way, unbolt the master cylinder, and then remove this, the brake servo can then be unbolted and remvoed. You will need to take off the vacuum hose to the servo as well.

You may need to disconnect the brake lines from the master cylinder, or there may be enough "flex" on the pipes to allow it to be moved out of the way.

Just be careful not to damage the brake lines, and if you do need to disconnect them, then remember to bleed to brakes afterwards. Being careful of getting air into the ABS modulator. If you have a fault code reader, some alllow you to exercise the modulator to help expell the air, but the best way is to push the brake fluid through with a pressurised brake bleeder such as this one;

It pushes the fluid through from the master cylinder, and prevents any air locks.

Cheers got my head around that but is there a knack to connecting the linkage at the back there's not much room and you can't see what you're doing
