brake problems

hi to all

this is a pain car went to worshop with back brake problem

(back brake making a banging noise when you put foot on pedal)

they put a hand brake cable on it they say the old one was no good

ok for one day then the banging started again back to worshop

this time they cleaned brake shoes and drums.

ok again then problem came back

went back to the workshop again

this problem keeps coming back

can someone helpee

It really would be a big help if we knew which car you have?

does it have rear discs?

what work has the garage done?

hi there

sorry about that its fiat punto 2001 mk 2 elx

workshop replaced hand brake cable on one side & cleaned / ajusted

the brakes , the car has shoes / drumes on back,

the car has been back three times but the problem keeeps coming back.
