Technical Brake pads worn

Hi all,
I have the message "Brake pads worn"coming up, I stripped both sides and the pads are fine, not anywhere near the wear indicators.No lip on the disc either. No sign of the cable earthing anywhere either, any ideas?

Well things progressed downhill rapidly, I was getting a message " STOP braking system faulty" and the brake pads worn as well, ABS was perfect, Lots of ice to test it on and braking was normal, then I lost parking sensors and had numerous beeps etc. In desperation I disconnect battery for about an hour and when I reconnected all was cured, Hope this may be of use to someone. Save a garage charging lots for non existant fault curing.
