General brake pad replacement

away to replace my brake pads tomorro on my multipla anyway how do the callipers come of are they bolts or allen key style

I don't know but got a price from Fiat main stealer for pads today for mine£65 for a pair

i got a brand new set of EBC green stuff pads for £20 from my local autoparts shop not too bad i thought gonna fit them tomorro

Did mine last week. 7mm Allen Key to undo the 2 bolts that secure the caliper to the carrier on the rear of the carrier. I popped off the spring on the front, dropped out the old pads, cleaned all the surfaces with brake cleaned, applied a little copper grease to the rear of the pads and re-assembled it all. Don't forget to pump the brake pedal when you are done, before driving off!
Easy job, no longer than 20 mins each side (including the cleaning etc.)

Thought about them but I allways think main stealer parts last longerOr am I wrong on that

yeah 4 pads 2 for each side, i always buy EBC they seem to get the best reviews, dunno if they are better but there what i buy anyway

Yes and the discs could do with changing they want £132 for a pair of them
