Hi,I have just replaced wheel cylinders but I am having trouble getting the right brake master cylinder...I went to a company called europarts and they sent me a PAGID Part no- 80318 (132 58 0178 ).This cylinder is too long and will not fit behind the fuel filter where the cylinder is located.I have seen that there are 2 cylinders made for Fiorinos. The company has asked for the [FONT=&quot]OE Part number.
I can not see any number on the original part on the van.It is not off the vehicle as it is still working as I am looking for a new master cylinder before the rubbers go.
Does anyone know the part no for the master cylinder for a 95 Fiorino RHD Diesle 1.7 ,Made in Brazil. Thanks(y)

Stuart,
Our computer broke down last week, just got it back today.
I will look up the part number for you later this week.
Try to find an Eper Fiat parts CD on Ebay, very handy tool when ordering original parts.
(The Fiorino old style is still being made in Brazil, so ordering most parts shouldn't be a problem.....)

Two versions possible:

Bendix:

Fiat part nr: 71739998
Alternative: 7077697

ITT:

Fiat part nr: 7079433
Repairkit: 7078824

They are all rather expensive, I would order a new, non original master cylinder at a carpart shop, or Halfords etc.

Hi Peter, glad you are up and running again, thanks for the part numbers.I have been trying to buy a non original part from Delphi - LM70228 and LPR Brakes - Ref 6781 and other parts companies from different motor factors in the UK that were able to find the original part numbers. Every time time I get the same reply "Yes it is listed" and they send me a picture to confirm, then when they contact the suppliers they all say "Not available". Every one I speak to say that they are surprised as to why this part is not available and they all say" See Main Fiat Dealer". I have even tried emailing Fiat Ireland last year several times and they will not even reply to me.Last time I tried buying an original part from Fiat Ireland was a steering rack and they quoted me over 250 Euros for one.I got a fully reconditioned one in England for £25.Any thoughts as to why a non original master cylinder is hard to find would be appreciated. Thanks Stuart

Did you try Ebay..??
It shouldn't be to difficult to find one, maybe a mastercilinder from an Uno will fit, but I'm not sure.
I had a brandnew, non original spare mastercilinder on the shelf, but I sold it together with the car last year.....

Hi Peter,I have just spoken to Halfords Ireland and they have no listings at all for this master cylinder.I just looked on Ebay again and they are only showing the earlier model master cylinder which is much bigger. The Uno is showing a different master cylinder from what motor factors have been telling me.Even Delphi do not stock this part anymore.Fiat Ireland will not even answer my emails. They are only interested in people buying new vans in Ireland.

Strange.
But don't worry, we'll get you a new one for sure.
Try here, www.tuynder.nl it's in Dutch, but they speak English and do ship anywhere.
Look what brand you currently have on the car, I guess Bendix ( I never heard of ITT to be honest...!) and send Tuynder an email and ask if they can get that partnumber for you, original or not.
If you have no luck with them, we'll find other ways.
Keep in touch!

Hi Peter,I finally had a result Yesterday from http://www.shop4parts.co.uk/ .They have one on the shelf and they use the same Eper system as Fiat.I am still confused as to why other motor factors found it impossible to get this basic part , even with the Original part numbers.Anyway sorted now and once again, thank you for all your help with this.
