Last time they didn't work after replacing bulbs but after a visit to the garage they fiddled a bit and they worked...appeared to be loose connection. Today I think they stopped working after going over a pothole. We have fiddled about is there anything specific we should look at? All 3 have gone. Other bulbs work, it's just the brake lights.

I've had a look now, there's a plastic white thing, looks like it should be plugged into something, with black and white twisted wires coming out. Any idea what that is, where it should go, or know of any photos of what it looks like in there?
