well, i've spent a week on a HUGE Skoda forum now, and have come to the conclusion that here at BOO the membership have a much more in-depth knowledge of their cars than the average Skoda owner. So far they seem to struggle to answer fairly basic questions about speaker sizes, or wheel fitments...
maybe i'm just not reading the forum right, but answers here, contrary to the belief of some, are much easier to come by, and are usually much more definite than the 'probbaly, i think, maybe' type answers i've seen there
Also, i've found no ICE experts yet, though they dont seem to go much further than replacing stock speakers or head units in their cars! And i've yet to find someone with even a small amp in their boot, lol. That said, i cant find a members gallery or anyone with shopping lists, which is part of the problem.
to sum it up, you guys rock!
I might have a Skoda now, and my bravo might be going to a different BOO member next month, but you can rest assured i'm not leaving BOO.(unless my membership card doesn't turn up soon Mr Wimmy!)
pat yourself on the backs guys! i dont think i've ever commented on this club, but i get all warm feeling when i think of BOO. My girlfriend will probably be happy that i wont be saying 'oh, that happened to someone from BOO last year' and suchlike things as often now, lol.
I couldn't leave, i'd miss you all too much!
hmm, anyway, i'm off to the skoda forum again to hunt for ICE answers.
