Technical Boot not opening and roof not working correctly - related?

Hi all,

The Mrs has a 2016 500c 1.2. The other day she told me the boot wouldn't open and she's right. Also the folding fabric roof is not working as it should and doesn't open 'one-touch' - you have to keep your finger on it all the way down (or up).

Before I start chaing my tail I wondered if these might be related and if so where is the best place to start looking?

Yes. If the car thinks the roof is open you can’t open t boot.
Have you tried the roof relearn?
Then I would check voltage to handle
If it was me d also check hatch wring. It does fail on 500c as well.
