Looking on www.edworthys.co.uk, I assume you mean the KFC-W3009 12 inch.

Doing a quick search on google under 'KFC-W3009 specification' up rooted this:
http://www.cardomain.com/item/KENKFCW3009

0.75 - 1.50 cuft recommended sealed enclosure volume, 1 - 2 cuft ported. As you want , the absolute maximum volume taken up is 4 cuft. Free air is also supported.

HTH

I pulled up the carpet and drilled a hole next to the spare wheels bay on the flat boot.

That way you can access a nut and bolt from under the car and in the boot, mine was about 40CM long, had no problems

make my own im guessin this involves drilling :S

dont fancy drilling into my new car tried that while fitting a diy alarm on my micra gave up at 30 min of paint scratching
