Sunny, my cars a deisel so it may have a slightly beefier alt/battery than the petrol, not sure but T14086 may be on later he will know. I can run it for over 40 minutes (conservatively) without draining the battery.
You must have seen Steve1219 post. He's running 2Kw through his standard Punto battery. Run with what you got and see how you get on. Spending money on upgrading battery/alternator may be a waste.
