Hey all, can some1 possibly give me a step by step guide of creating a boot buuilder. What will i need extra, where to start.

Couldnt tell you where to start. Its all about how you want it too look and what ice you have. Tafi is the best person to speak to. However,, he made a post the other day asking if anybody would want a boot build as he now wants to make money out of it.

I'm sure if you tell him what you want he'll give you a very good price

heres my idea

been thinking about this for bloody ages, and here is a quick plan

1st of all im gunna cut mdf rings the size of my 2 subs with a jigsaw,

then im going to cut enough rings and bind them together with some propper glue and sand filler.
to get 2 cylindrical shapes. i might use some screws too

then im going to build an MDF box with the lid missing and the face missing, which will consist of 3 pieces of wood binded with good wood glue or (no more nails) then use a nail gun to make it even more ridgid

next is going to be a little box for my amp to sit on,

heres the lot peiced together, its taking shape now!

its pretty obviouse but this shows where the audio is going to go,

now once im at that stage its time to get a staple gun and some fleece and tubs of fibre glass and lots of brushes, rubber gloves and body filler.

im going to stretch sheets of fleece over the box and into the circular holes of the subs, and onto the sides of the amp box, then gonna smear it in fibre glass, wait till it goes hard, then do some more layers. then using body filler go over the top and sand it smooth, then "i forget what its called" but u can get this gell stuff that sets nice and smooth, after this stage im gonna make sure its nice n round n smooth and wet n dry it so its shiney, then getting it proffessionaly sprayed by a body shop.
p.s in the large box at the back there will be 2 connectors one for each sub for the wireing,

and this is the begining of my project.

hope to show real pics of step by step soon
