Having no got our Doblo #2 Running Driving and MOT'd the next issue is boost.

Often it has very little low down boost making it very slow off the mark, then the boost will come in and off we go. Sometimes it will be ok..

Anyone had any similar issues.

I will get MES on it as it's finaly posted and EML , but it could be unrelated to boost.

Cheers

If not turbo related it may be worth checking DPF pressure sensor results in case DPF partially blocked using your MES.

Forced a DPF regen a couple of months back so it was below threshold and not thrown a code until today. But granted it's only gone round the block when testing until driving back from MOT yesterday.

Will See what MES says first, then inspect the bust hoses. the VAC line to the actuator looks cheap too may be colapsing I guess.

Just a thought on daughters VW Golf 1.6 diesel she found pulling away it was sluggish, I always give plenty of throttle so to start with I thought she was comparing with her last VW a 2.0litre Tiguan.
However later on the DPF light came on and with the use of additive and some spirited driving (4th gear at 70 for 30 miles) the light went out and also the car responded better from junctions.
So I have advised her to use the additive every other tankful and give it a decent run more often as she works in town and never boots it.
I also fitted a new thermostat as temp only reached 1/3rd with old one and now it quickly gets to 90 degrees middle of gauge so better operating temp for engine and DPF.

Fault code was for MAF sifnal. Reseated the connector.

Live data shows atual air intake volume being much less than desired air volume.

I gues a MAF is the first port of call,. My mechanic say he has lots of spare parts I can borrow for testing.

Fitted new AFM, Replaced the AFM to intake clip and all seemed ok did 12 miles round trading estate and then had to be pressed into service. On the way back from work she lost power again on my son, I tried when i got home and whe went roun dhte block ok,,,
