So... As many of you don't know p ), to pass my driving test, get a car and insure it, I took to the Bank of Dad and got myself a nice loan at 0% interest...

That paid for lessons, test (theory and practical) AND insurance (at almost £1000)...

I've just had the car checked over, and found I'll be needed 4 new tyres @ £30-40 each AND... new downpipe and cat I worked it out at about another £350 to add to my debt :bang:

Dammit... I hate cars :yum:

Ian... they're around £35 each, and that's for some make i've never heard of. If I go for the BF Goodrich, Falken, Michelin or Goodyear... it'll be pretty steep..

But yeah... I know it's all part of owning a car, i just wasn't expecting so much to happen at the same time... My MOT isn't till july '06... so i can spread it all out a bit i think :yum:

keep an eye out for offers on tyres my local ats normaly quite spensive have a special on tyres buy one get one free on a certain brand missed the brand as was going to fast to read advert lol

get the best online price oyu can get then phone your local tyre places to price match/beat.i get continental 185x50x14 for the turbo cinq for £62 fully fitted at my local national(they quote £84) and is a better fitted price than my-tyres
