I've noticed a thread back in 2012 about bonnet lifters and wondered if those who 1. Had fitted them and 2. Still have their Bravo could possibly say how they've faired since then.
Looks like it was a golf mk2 lifter used but some were concerned about the flimsy bottom bracket area.
Although I'm anti-mod these days, the practical aspect of a bonnet lifter is appealing!
I just don't fancy installing something that either breaks or breaks part of my car!
I'm thinking a black lifter would be better than a chrome one purely for aesthetics so it would look more oem, but as for which or what one I'm none the wiser.
