Technical Bonnet latch pics

Hi,

My Bonnet latch of my 1987 141a is not working. When i close bonnet it doesnt releases anymore

After investigation i discovered previous owner seems to have hacked up original mounting points and put a early style (till1986 ) latch. It doesnt line up with bonnet hook

Need some pics how metal should look so i can repair it in correct way and install original latch

I would personally consider finding a part at a breaker's... It's also bent here and there

If i want to replace original mounting points i need te install complete new front as it is one pièce.

Found a picture online in res high enough to zoom in.
Seems it is not so bad as expected
Instead of a stud behind the humps they drilled them out and replaced by (bad fitting) bolts.

Try to fix that

Found in my parts stockpile another late style latch which a spring to pop the hood wen lever is pulled.
Works again!
