Bonnet catch

Hey Guys,
Recently been having difficulty releaseing the bonnet, now it won't work. Either the wire has stretched or the release has broken, is there any other way into the bonnet?

Unfortunately no, get someone to press the bonnet down while you pull the in car lever (use some pliers if you want to pull just the wire, this way you can pull it more). When you have pulled the wire, keep it pulled while the other person tries to yank the bonnet open by pulling it upward.
