Bonnet Catch

Hi all,

Does anybody else find that there bonnet catch has a habbit of sticking. Sometimes when i pull the catch under the steering wheel to 'pop the bonnet' it just doesnt do anything the lever moves but nothing happens to the bonnet...

Its that simple. Keep the lever well greased on the bottom of your bonnet as it is prone to sticking.

My Bonet catch as never gotten stuck - still works perfectly.... my engine did break though

Mine stuck down the day before I was due to drive to the Alps and back last year


spent four and half hours getting the bloody bonnet up only to check the oil/water etc

and after getting backl she hadnt used a single drop .....lol
