My old Punto mk1 75sx has failed its last MOT so I got a cheap mk1 sporting today! Problem is I have the full Beast kit on the 75sx and it is a 5 door. Would the kit fit straight on to the 3 door sporting? Also any suggestions for the colour I will be spraying it myself in the summer and was thinking of a dark metallic red or blue or maybe even orange?

yeah it's a straight fit mate.. :) i got mine of a sporting and they fit well on my 5dr ... :D should be no prob the other way round too..

as for colour it would be best being the same as the car dont ya think.

I will be spraying the whole car not just the kit. Might just spray the kit grey to match the car for now but the whole thing will be done in the summer! Also, will the bonnet be a straight swap as it looks smaller on the sporting it would save having to remove the bonnet scoop then?

I have a longlife exhaust would it fit or would it need some changes? The garage said they can do it for £40 but I would rather do it myself if possible?

do you have any experience with spraying, as spraying a whole car your self can not look as good as a bodyshop..... i would say go to a bodyshop but a whole respray of a car is costly...

Yes my father did the 75sx for me and it came out great he has got experience with spraying lorries and the correct equipment for it. As long as everything will swap straight over without too much fuss it will be ok!

EDIT: here is a link to my car I put on here a while ago as you can see the spray job has come out fine
