another question am just bout to fit the carzone under bumpers but saw a amazin pic on bravo guide site were sum one had filled the joints and even the lower lights

anytips on how t do this and wat products t use??

if you fit the carzone under bumpers you can see the lip were theyve bin joint ut bi found a pic of some one who has smoothed out the joints, just wondered if anybody had any info on it.

Ok to attach you need a good 1 part glue - you can try with a two part but if its not mixed properly!

Then with the join its diificult - what you have to take into consideration is that the join is always going to be the weakest point on that bumper - so if you smooth it out IT WILL CRACK!!!!! My advice would be if you want to try it to use a glass fibre filler! Make sure you rouchen the surface first and prepare to spend 100's of hours to get it right - what looks a perfect shape will prob look terible when sprayed - esp if its black!

for a small get you would have to fill it, for a bigger gap you may be better just bridging it with a strip of fibreglass then smoothing it

Dont - lol

I regretted mine - they are very very thin fibre glass - they crack - split - peal and take constant attention - i would look for an plastic option!

But my advice would be:

Put the car in a garage - do 1 bit at a time - side skirts are a pain and be carefull not to angle them incorrectly! The front of the skirt needs to look very slightly angeled out! Apply a good coat of glue to the car and skirt and presure them on with some wood pushing against the garage wall - thats what i did!

The bumpers you may aswell take off!

Oh and if you dont want it to fall of use a flexi adhesive - but something strong - i used a 3m black adhesive 2 part but with an application gun - was £40 a tube and £150 for the gun - bought £120 of glue and got the gun 4 free!
