As I am using Uno mostly for urban traffic, speed limit in town is 50 km/h and fines for its exceeding draconic where I live (plus there was a point system implemented this summer), it would be good for me to have a clearer view of the 50 to 70 marks without having to move my head when I want to make sure I am not speeding.

There is some adjustment available in the position of the steering column - sometimes they are a little skewed left-right. You can also fit some spacers to lower the steering wheel (be aware that this may reduce the crash safety if not done correctly, and in fact I think it's illegal over here).
Otherwise, the steering wheel needs to be the big, original type, and then you should have a perfect view?
If you think the Uno has problems, try driving a FIAT X1/9...
As for the Tipo, the stalks that light up are night are super-cool... I've never seen another car with illuminated column stalks, not even my Stilo... BUT the stalks are so heavy that they tend to turn themselves on when going over bumps
Dude, the Hormann kits are the best around, but they're £1200 for either the Mk1 or the Mk2.
Worth it in my opinion...
Colour code your bumpers and put a small, flat splitter under the front bumper, use the original arch trims as templates for fibreglassing bigger arches.
I know the Hörmann kit is the best and it look the best! But as you say, it cost much! I will use the orginal bumpers, but I will have bigger arches, something like the Hörmann arches/panels!
I'm all up for creating something original, but I was taken by the Hormann's deep skirts and bumpers.
Saw a ferrari testarossa on the motorway today when my dad was driving his turbo XM. Cruised past at probably just over 100.
Missing my Uno greatly. With a full spec engine, i could have the 'rossa on acceleration, absolutely no contest.
