Guys & Gals,
If anyone was wondering, the answer to the unposed question of "Is Blue & Me Nav retrofittable?" is . . . It was. FIAT now code the B&M Nav units to the chassis numbr when ordering them, so if you're car didn' have it from the factory (i.e. UK models), then you can't order it.
If you manage to ge one like I did, then it's simply a matter of replacing the unit in the glovebox (5 min job at most), installing aGPS/GSM antenna (ok, maybe longer than 5 mins) and getting the car Proxi'd at the dealer to stop the mileage flashing. No time delay circuits or additional wiring ala Connect Nav+ . . . how boring!
It doesn't need the "Nav" panel by the ceiling lamp either, as I hardly ever used mine, and it is not required to work.
