Grande Punto Blue & Me and USB

Dear all

I would be very grateful if there are any experts out there who can advise me on a problem that I experienced with my blue & me and the usb port in my Fiat Grande Puntu 2007

Basically, I get no voice or when I press the windows button on the steering wheel nothing happens. It also doesnt seem to recognise my usb port as a source. Other button, ie the up/down buttons seem to work which allows me to change volume and radio channel. the source button also works and I can scroll trhough the sources but it doesnt recognise anything plugged into the usb

Any help or tips would be welcome before i take it to the garage

Hi, mine also does this. Does your odemeter (mileage) flash aswell?

Quite a few searches on here suggest that sometimes disconnecting your negative battery terminal can reset blue and me;

Failing that; it'll probably need a "proxy allignment" from a fiat dealership which is what i presume mine needs.

If that still doesnt work then maybe we both need a new blue & me unit.

Hi - thanks for your response. I have tried the disconnecting the battery but made no difference unfortunately. I may have to pop it into a fiat dealership. Does your usb port work?

I do not get a flashing mileage though

No, unfortunately my usb ports do not work at the moment, its on the list but ive only just got the car and such a luxury is not covered by the stealership i got it from.
