Hey everyone. I'm new to this forum stuff. I had a Fiat Seicento for a year and now I've upgraded to to a Grande Punto Multijet 1.9. The Blue and me doesn't respond when I press any of the buttons and when I try to connect my mobile it rejects me. I'll be grateful for any suggestions on how to fix it. Thanks

B&M can be a right pain some times.
You could try updating it by going to : http://www.blueandme.net/blueandme/index.aspx?brand=fga&lang=en#/support/download/

You basically just put the file you download onto a memory stick, and then plug it into the car and turn it on (no buttons need to be pressed). There are instructions in the download though.
Hopefully this will iron out any errors?
It's worth a try I guess.
Cheers,
Tom

Thank you WillMott1992 and T14086. I'm going to try to disconnect the battery and if that doesn't work try installing an update. If I disconnect the battery will I need a radio code? Thanks

As long as its the OEM head unit the car left the factory with it is coded to the body computer so the car knows its own radio. So no code needed

I disconnected my battery and reconnected it 30 minutes later. Now it's asking me for a radio code, the mileage is still flashing and the blue and me doesn't work. I've managed to break my car in less than 24 hours :p

Can anyone help?
A mechanic friend of mine had a look at why my Bluetooth isn't working and he thinks it could be down to the stereo being replaced. Which I think could be right because of needing the radio code. Does anyone know if it might be a cable not connected or whether it need to be put through a system for the radio to find the bluetooth of the car? Also where is the microphone? Thanks

Maybe but unless you know full car history you will never know, easiest option is to get another stereo (with code) unless you can get it decoded.

Can't see from here, sorry;)

No
