wi11 Uno no longer with us! Joined Mar 31, 2006 Messages 69 Points 25 Location Liverpool May 21, 2006 #3 I have a fuel tank with a leak (anyone near merseyside with a spare let me know!) The air you hear is rushing in as the tank pulls a vacumn which is normal especially if you have been ragging round! Also this is why my tank leaks when i have taken the plug out or when the car has been stood for a few days because it looses its vacumn Don't worry all cars pull a vacumn - are pressured (unless they have a swirl tank) but thats another matter!!!
