Hi, this black plastic box appears to be leaking and I can smell diesel fuel and see it. Its some sort of reservoir. Does anybody know if its serviceable or have a spare ? As usual Fiat want a stupid price for a new one. I cant get Eper to work, can anyone give me the part number ? Thx all, David

It's the fuel return manifold. Several pipes connect to it so that excess fuel can be directed back to the fuel tank.

Could be one of the pipes cracked, if not, it will need replacing. Part number will depend on age of the car and engine type.

thx both, yes Davren thats it, its on my Nov 2003 JTD 115.

I've replaced 1 of the pipes, but it was'nt that. The rest of the pipes are'nt leaking. The box appears to be leaking from the right hand side of the body (when looking under bonnet standing in front of car) which seems odd. Do you have the alternative part numbers ? I wonder if its the same box on GM cars using the same engine, like an Astra etc, if so I will try local breakers yard. They dont have any Stilo's and I can't see any boxes on ebay, thx David

Davren, thank you so so much, I owe you one !
I could'nt find one at all on ebay, I've just bought that one you found on ebay. I called 4 scrap yards and visited 2 earlier today and found none. I should have checked back on here ! For the benefit of anyone else, the Vauxhalls & Saabs don't have these fitted to the 1.9 CDTI engines around 56 plate onwards. Fiats price was £204 ! Rgs David

That's very interesting that its also available as an aftermarket part. I tried 2 motor factors who told me it was a main dealer part only, (not sure if I had the part number at that time.) Arnold Clark wont give customers the Fiat part numbers, so that they can continue to try and hold customers to ransom for parts.

Strangely enough mine decided to give up today and spew diesel all over the engine. Luckily I thought it might be leaking and had ordered a Gates version for the 115 JTD, p/n: MFL1009. So will be replacing it tomorrow.

Can you point me in the right direction please as I bodged mine last year but its still not leaking yet lol.
