Folks, I'm at work and the bucket has thrown an electrical wobbly. Every time I push the indicator to indicate right fuse 13 is blowing. Hazards won't work but evrthing else connected to fuse 13 is ok.

I've gone through 2 15 amp fuses and it's even blowing a 20 amp fuse. As said, this only happens on indicating right.

Any ideas before I call the AA ?

Hi,
Try unplugging the hazard light switch, it may have an internal short circuit. Other than that it;s logically looking for the short circuit on the right indicator circuit. If you have a trailer socket it might be worth looking there first as it's exposed to the elements. Then the indicator lamp holders.

Called the AA anyway as it was going to turn into a drama. He took one look at the towbar and fingered it as a likely culprit. Cut a long story short; all sorted. There was a short being caused by the wiring module of the tow bar. That's taped up and out of the way and everything works fine. For the moment........,.,
